Carol M. Temple

Carol Marquerite Temple 78 years old of Cassopolis, passed in her home on July 14, 2025 after an illness. She was born Dec 13, 1946 in Thunder Bay, Canada, the daughter of Ralph John Wesley Lee and Dorita Pape, and has lived in the Cassopolis area for several years. She had been a school bus driver in the Edwardsburg and Cassopolis Public Schools System. One of her enjoyments was in the Cass County 4-H program, helping the younger ones to do good deeds and habits in their lives.

Besides being an attentive Mother, she enjoyed being active in her Community and her family and friends. She lived the 'Farm-Life' and loved to bake, cook, and do gardening. She was able to assist those in need by helping care for them.

Carol had been married to John Temple, and he passed 29 years ago... Surviving are children Jerry Lee Miller, Jr, Melissa Ann (Chuck) Sampson, Heather Dorita Bowman, Justin (Rachel) Temple of Cassopolis, and Jacob John Anthony Lee. There are nine grandchildren, Jessica Miller, Justin Temple, Jr, Anastasia Sampson, Jonathan Sample, Realidy Schram, Trent Schram, Zander Goins, Samantha Temple, Nova Temple, Angel Leiting and Gary Leiting. There are three great-grandchildren, LilyAnn Miller, Angelina Miller and Levi Schram. There is a sister Juanita (Mike) Schultz. Family who have preceded her in passing, are her parents, husband John Temple, a son Ralph 'John' Miller, her siblings Jennifer 'Jennie' Linda Woosley and John 'Jackie' Charles Mathew.

Family and friends may gather July 20, 2025, Sunday, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Paul E Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 West Main St, Edwardsburg. The Service of Remembrance will be Monday, July 21, 2025 at 5:00 PM in the Funeral Home. There will be one hour of visitation before the service. Burial will follow the service in Dailey Cemetery on Dailey Road, north of Edwardsburg.
