Carol Anne Jarvis Pack, 83, of Spearman passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Hansford Hospital in Spearman. Viewing will be on Thursday, October 3, 2024 (9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.) Friday, October 4, 2024 (9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.) at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Spearman at 2:00p.m. with Rev. Byron Potter officiating. There will be a private burial at the Lieb Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Carol Anne was born on July 15, 1941 to Woodville Jarvis and Verna Lawrence Jarvis in Shattuck, Ok. Carol Anne and Ernest Neil Pack were united in marriage in Waco, Tx. on May 25, 1964.
She was a music teacher at Pringle and Pringle Morse School, choir director at Spearman ISD and the First Baptist Church in Spearman. She was choir accompanist for High Schools and others. Carol taught private piano lessons. Carol was the chairman of the Texas Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers committee 1972-1973. She was named the outstanding Conservation Homemaker in 1983 for Hutchinson County, Texas. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi and composed a winning song in the Sorority International song writing contest.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by husband of the home, Neil Pack, sons, Michael and wife Teresa Pack of Decatur, TX., Jay and wife Peggy Pack of Guymon, OK., brother Wesley and wife Cheri Jarvis of Stinnett, TX. and grandchildren, Chance Pack of Amarillo, TX., Blaine Pack of Spearman, TX., Jayme Pack of Houston, TX and Elizabeth Pack of Decatur, Texas and 5 great-grandchildren. She was a friend to all.
