Gram, as she was lovingly known by her grandchildren, loved meeting and talking to people, traveling, dancing, performing in the theater, the power of crystals, the color purple, and the Grateful Dead. She had such a kind spirit, all animals wanted to meet her, but she had a special, spiritual connection to cats of all kinds.
Carol is survived by her husband of 35 plus years Arlon Owensby, her children Lillian, Charles, Kimberly, and Michael as well as their spouses. Carol had a tribe surrounding her, including many nieces, nephews, and cousins, 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren, not to mention the countless close friends who she considered to be family. Carolundefineds sister Jolene Walker preceded her in death in 2011.
