Carol Marie Laumeier of St. Ann, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the age of 85. Carol was born June 8, 1936 in Augusta. She received her education at Augusta High School. On May 20, 1956 she was united in marriage to Wilbert Laumeier. Carol worked at Adderton Brokerage Company for 23 years. Her favorite hobbies were trout fishing, camping and crocheting. She loved going to Florida, walking the beaches and looking for seashells. She is survived by her son, John Laumeier (Denise); daughters, Carolyn Pugh (Lynn), Patricia Collings (Steve Hummert), and Carla Byington (Mike); 8 grandchildren, John Laumeier (Jessica), Ashley Titus (James), Jeremy Pugh (Rachel), Justin Pugh (Brandon McKinnon), Amy Baldwin (Thomas), Andrew Collings (Makayla), Alicia Tweedy (Greg) and Nick Bell (Ashly); 12 great-grandchildren, Hailey Laumeier, Connor Laumeier and Braelyn Laumeier, Sophie Laumeier, Maci Titus, Amelia Baldwin, Ethan Baldwin, Maverick Collings, Alaina Collings, Penelope Collings, Landon Tweedy and Cameron Tweedy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Eleanor Nadler; husband, Wilbert Laumeier; and brother David Nadler. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25 at the Pitman Funeral Home in Augusta. Burial will be in the Augusta City Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Augusta. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice.
