Carol F. Lansford, age 63, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Rev. Johnny Foster and Rev. Michael Boatfield officiating. Interment will follow at in Scottsboro, Alabama on Monday, January 20th. She will lie in state at the church from 12pm to 1pm prior to the ceremony. A native of Scottsboro, AL, Mrs. Lansford has lived in Marietta and Dallas, GA for the past 36 years. She retired from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as a Front Office Coordinator after 22 years of employment. She was an active member of Macland Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and was an Awana leader. Survivors include: Husband of 36 years, Joe Lansford; 2 Daughters, Hannah Lansford and Bekah Lansford, both of Dallas, GA; Brother, Danny Evans, Dutton, AL; Mother, Judy Allison, Scottsboro, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn Lansford's memory to assist with funeral expenses.
