Martha Carol Rogers Fischel, of Marietta passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021
A native of Cobb County, Carol attended Sprayberry High School and retired from the Cobb County Tax Assessor's office.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 at Noonday Baptist Church.
She was born and raised on the Rogers family farm formerly located on Canton Highway at East Piedmont Road. Her parents were Nola and Roy Rogers. Carol, who was lovingly known as " Memommy" to her grandchildren, enjoyed spending time with her family. Christmas was her favorite Holiday. In her youth she played piano and sang at Rose Lane Baptist Church. She was creative with Crafts such as ceramics, floral arranging and enjoyed doing home d?cor.
Carol was preceded in death by her son, Roger Robertson, parents, Roy and Nola Rogers, sister, Frankie Evans, and brother, Tommy Rogers.
Survivors include son, Jeff Robertson of Auburn, GA; daughter Jenifer Gross (Dave) of Blairsville; son, Jason Robertson (Erica) of Acworth; 7 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren with one on the way, Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Just days before her passing, Carol had commented to her son that if she had a lot of money, she would donate half of it to St Jude Children's Hospital. In the spirit of that desire, in lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude. https://www.stjude.org/donate/
