Carol A. Eggers, 80, of Beloit, WI, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Huntington Place, Janesville, WI.
She was born on January 24, 1943 on the family farm in Eastman, WI, the daughter of Julius "Judd" and Opal (Puckett) Heisz. Carol married Edward Eggers Sr. on October 29, 1960 in Boscobel, WI. He predeceased her on December 6, 2018.
Carol was employed by Ed's Auto as a bookkeeper. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed shooting pool in leagues, as well as listening to country and western music. After Ed's passing, the love of her life became her dog, Maggie.
Survivors include her children, Ed (Lou Ann) Eggers, Bill (Michelle) Eggers, Rich (Kim) Eggers, and Kevin (Angel) Eggers; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Rosella Coleman; sisters-in-law, Joann (Gary) Johll and Carol (Pete) Lenz; brother-in-law, Gary (Karen) Eggers; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; brother, George; daughter, Lisa; twin sons, Tim and Tom; sisters, Beverly and Marlene.
A Graveside Service for Carol will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in the East Lawn Cemetery, 2200 Milwaukee Rd., Beloit, WI, with Pastor David Meding officiating. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
