Carol worked as a bookkeeper for Simpkins and Herb Philipson's in Rome. She continued her career at the United Way in Rome. Carol was proud to be a mentor for the Rome City School District. She was very active in her church, St. Mary's/St. Peter's. She was a greeter, a member of the parish council and Eucharistic minister at Rome Memorial Hospital.
Family was everything to Carol. In her final days she was able to hold her newest great-grandchild, Lincoln. She was happy to see her three grandchildren settled in their own houses and happy.
