Carmen L. Miller, 90, a resident of Milford, NH died peacefully on November 11, 2021 at the Community Hospice House after a period of declining health.
She was the daughter of Phillippe and Maria Labbe Letendre of Pembroke, NH. She was educated by the nuns of St. Jean the Baptiste Church in Allenstown, NH and graduated from Pembroke Academy in Pembroke, NH. She later attended courses at the Nashua Voc. Tech.
Carmen moved to Milford, NH in 1952, then to Amherst, NH in 1961 and returned to Milford in 1998.
During her career, she was employed at the State Civil Defense Agency in Concord; Hitchiner Manufacturing in Milford, NH; the Easter Seal Society of NH in Manchester; Simoneau Reality in Nashua and PVA-EPVA Inc in Wilton, NH.
She loved her home and family and was an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, macrame.
Carmen was predeceased by her former husband, Kenneth Miller in 1989, her younger sister Jeannine, T. Letendre in 2004 and her older brother Gerard R. Letendre in 2013.
Survivors include her son, Michael Miller of Milford, NH, two daughters: Arin Quintel of Livermore Falls, ME and Carleen Covey of Manchester, NH. 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: A private graveside service will be held in the St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Allenstown, NH at a later date.
