Fitzpatrick, Jr. (Kathryn), Margaret A. Dlugos (Tom), Patricia F. Crowley (the late Dan M.) and Sister Beth Fitzpatrick, O.Ca (http://O.Ca)rm. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren: Dan M. A devoted homemaker, Carmel always made her children, their children and the "greats," her highest priority. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who cherished their Aunt Carmel and friends of all ages who treasured her friendship. Her children are grateful that they were able to provide care for her at her home for many months with the assistance of excellent caregivers. The family offers special thanks to the Staff of Wynhoven Health Care Facility for their attentive care and especially to our sister, Patricia F. Crowley, who lovingly coordinated her care these last months. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her funeral service at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with her funeral Mass at 12:15 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at St. Patrick #3 Mausoleum on City Park Avenue.
