Carl P. Lindmark, 85 of Plainview and formerly of Kellogg, MN, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Green Prairie Rehabilitation Center, Plainview, MN.
Carl Peter was born November 9, 1935, in Kellogg, MN to Carl Mauritz and Beatrice (Giem) Lindmark. He graduated from Kellogg High School in 1953. He was formerly employed as a miller at Red Wing Milling Co., Red Wing, MN and as a spice compounding technician at Watkins, Winona, MN. He was married to Nancy Dornack and they had three children: Tracy, Amanda and Carl Jr. They later divorced. He later married Judith Hanson and she preceded him in death, December 19, 2020.
He is survived by two daughters: Tracy Lindmark and Amanda (Robert) Van Pelt; a granddaughter Jillian Van Pelt; a sister Laura Schurhammer; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Carl Lindmark, Jr; and brother-in-law Donald Schurhammer.
The family extends grateful thanks to his doctor; to Green Prairie Place Assisted Living & Rehabilitation, and to Mayo Hospice for the loving and compassionate care Carl received from all of them.
Committal prayers will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. Agnes Cemetery, Kellogg, MN.
