Carl Ezekial Hinchey, 74, of Littleton, NC passed peacefully at his home on February 12, 2024. Mr. Hinchey was born on January 12, 1950 in Johnston County, NC, the son of the late Elwood and Vicie Hinchey. Carl spent most of his adult life in Wilson, NC where he worked in the electrical supply business. Upon his retirement, he moved to Lake Gaston where he enjoyed tinkering in his garage, fishing and spending time with his 3 grandchildren. Carl was known for his kind soul and was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his son Carlton Hinchey, his sister Wanda Lucas and her husband Billy Lucas.
Carl is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Hinchey, his daughter Carmen Hinchey Erwin (Daniel), their children Austin Erwin and Walker Erwin; his grandson Braxton Hinchey (Makenzie); his sister Linda Musgrave; his nephews David Wayne Dorsey (Molly) and Billy Ray Lucas (Kim); and his niece Glenda Lucas.
