Calvin HartCalvin B. Hart, 65, of Middletown, CT, passed into eternal rest on Saturday, June 18, 2022, reuniting with his beloved wife Carolyn (McDaniel) Hart. Calvin was born in Middletown, CT, to the late Bert E. and Elouise (Green) Hart. He attended Middletown public schools, graduating class of 1974.Following high school, Calvin enlisted as a paratrooper in the Army Airborne division in 1975, stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, completing his service as Sargent. Calvin graduated with an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Hartford State Technical College in Hartford, CT, (now Capital Community College). Calvin's career began at Pratt & Whitney, moving onto Connecticut Light and Power until retiring after 35 years.Calvin enjoyed serving at the New Jerusalem Christian Center as Chairman of the Deacon Body, Church Treasurer, Adult Choir Director, among other offices. Calvin enjoyed sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and spending time with his family, often testing his children's and grandchildren's knowledge.A Celebration of Life will be held Thurs., July 7, 2022 at 10:30 A.M at Cross Street AME Zion Church, 440 West Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
