It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad on August 08, 2022 @ his home in Lake Stevens with family by his side. Byron lived in Snohomish County most of his adult life after serving in the United States Army. Byron was preceded in death by his loving wife Irene of 59 years. They will spend their 60th wedding anniversary together in paradise on August 17th. Byron is survived by Daughters Lori Parsons and her significant other Bruce Lindeke of Edmonds, WA, Lisa, and Son - in - Law Jay Iblings of Tucson, AZ, his Sister, extended family and numerous close friends, including his Buddy Heath and his Grand dogs Beary and Lucky. Byron was a Body Shop "Guy" by trade throughout Snohomish County and made one of his dreams come true when he opened Special Interest Auto Body in Everett, WA with his business partner, Doug Tuengel. He was a master storyteller and a friend to all who met him. He loved sharing his knowledge, classic cars, model trains and anything else "old & rusty". He thoroughly enjoyed his TNGA Car Club, WPC Car Club, and his Train Club. He traveled across the county with Irene to Car Shows with many stops to Reno and San Francisco along the way. A Celebration of Life will be held August 11, 2022 at The Parsons' Residence at 3:00 PM. As Byron would say, The Show must go on, "The Car Show" that is!
