William Edward "Bud" Keaton, 61, resident of 444 Beulah Church Road, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born December 12, 1957, in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Willis and Vieanna Wright Keaton. He was a 1976 graduate of Greenwood High School and was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College Welding Department. He was retired from Scott's Bridge Company of Greenwood and was formerly employed with Gene Knowlton as a welder.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary Keaton Alexander and husband Steve of Greenwood, and Margaret K. Bagwell and husband Johnny of Simpsonville; a niece, Katie Dugan and husband Chris of Lexington; two nephews, Jon Bagwell of Simpsonville and Keaton Alexander of Greenwood; and his long-time companion, Angie Carruth of Greenwood.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. James McCoy-Bruce officiating.

The family will be at the home of his sister, Mary and Steve Alexander, 216 Grange Road in Greenwood, and will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
