Bruna Venturi Wisniewski

Bruna Venturi Wisniewski, 93, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Westminster Canterbury. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Ralph Michael Wisniewski.

Born on September 21, 1931, in West Wyoming, Pennsylvania, Bruna was the daughter of the late August Venturi and Italia Tognelli Venturi. She devoted her career to Luzerne National Bank, where she served as a customer service representative until her retirement.

Bruna's passion for life shone through her love of cooking, baking, and sewing. Above all, she cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren?Laura, Matthew, and Leah?creating lasting memories.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Ralph M. Wisniewski II, and his wife, Dr. Lisa Wisniewski, along with her grandchildren, Laura Wisniewski, Matthew Wisniewski and Leah Wisniewski and several nieces and nephews who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Culpeper National Cemetery.

A memorial service will follow at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in the chapel at Westminster Canterbury, where the family will host a reception afterward to celebrate Bruna's life.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Westminster-Canterbury Foundation.
