Bruce James ( BJ) Reis-El Bara, 70 passed away Saturday August 13, 2022 at Community Hospice & Palliative Care in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was born March 26, 1952 in Dover, Delaware, the son of USAF Major Bruce and Brenda (Cafferty) Reis-El Bara.
BJ's biggest love was spending time with family and friends. He had an infectious smile and his laughter would make everyone around him laugh as well. BJ had a joy and positivity that lit up every room her entered. BJ was an avid sports fan, he especially loved the Miami Dolphins. If a game was on, you would find him watching. BJ enjoyed painting as a way to relax and loved sharing his finished products with those he cared about.
BJ is survived by his brother Brian Reis-El Bara (Lois), his sister Beth Romans and his loving niece and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank the staff of Care Centers of Nassau for all the love and support you showed to BJ and us over the years. He loved all of you as family and we can't express the magnitude of gratitude we have for you.
