Brian G. McKenna, 63, of Merrimack, NH passed away on Thursday, December 1st, 2022, at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua after a brief period of declining health.
He was born in Queens, NY on July 17th, 1959, to the late James F. and Janet (Mulcahy) McKenna. He graduated from Holy Family High School and received his Bachelors' degree from Eastern Nazarene College.
Brian spent his career with UPS and Iron Mountain. Most recently he was semi-retired and working with "his" students at Merrimack Middle School, where he touched many lives as they touched his.
Along with his parents, Brian was pre-deceased by his two sisters, Janet McKenna in 2019 and Mary Ellen McKenna in 2021.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 40 years, Cindy Lou (Hancock) McKenna; two children, his son Brian P. McKenna and his wife Ana Carolina and his daughter Brittany and her husband Danny Edmonds, both of Merrimack; four grandchildren, Gabriella and Annabelle Edmonds and Enzo and Lucy McKenna; a brother, James McKenna and his wife Virginia; sister in-law Cheri Forrest, brother in-law Herbert Hancock and his wife Diane, sister in-law Laurianne and her husband Charles Macdonald and brother in-law John Hancock and his wife Candice along with numerous loving nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH on Thursday, December 8th from 4 - 7 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH on Friday, December 9th at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow 12-3 PM at Sky Meadow Country Club, Nashua, NH.
