Brian W. Liddell passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 26. He took his life after a prolonged struggle with his mental health.
Brian was born and raised in Belmont, MA. During his youth in Belmont he actively participated in sports, including hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis and golf. He made many friends along the way. He graduated from Belmont High School in 2013.
He attended UMASS Amherst and had a wonderful experience. He graduated in 2019 with a BS in Psychology and minor in Biology.
Brian described himself as a life long learner. He had a genuine intellectual curiosity to understand the world around him. He explored many different areas of interest including the arts, music, science, cooking, fitness, camping and hiking, and travel.
Many who knew Brian describe him as smart, sweet and caring. He had many close friendships throughout his life but it was a struggle for him to remain close and allow people to care for him.
Brian cherished his family. He is survived by his parents, Janet and Bruce, sister Lisa, grandfather and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
