Brian D. LaFollette, age 75, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Preceded in death by parents, Victor Luther LaFollette and Eunice Virginia LaFollette. Brian was a retired police officer with the Knoxville City Police Department with 34 years of service. He was deputized with the ATF and the US Marshall's office. He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #2 and a member of Burlington Masonic Lodge #763 F&AM. He was known for past volunteer work at his home church of Mount Olive Baptist Church and his in-laws church First Baptist Church, Sevierville where he married his wife of 54 years, Phyllis M. Simpson LaFollette.
In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters, Virginia Louise LaFollette Mills and husband Robert Mills and Christine Marie LaFollette Jeffreys and husband John Eric Jeffreys; grandchildren, Ashton LaFollette Mills, Sean Mills, Tori Mills, and Conner Clark; brother, Bill LaFollette wife Marsha and nephew, Will LaFollette.

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7 pm. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, February 8, 2022 at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier at 8:15 am for an 8:30 am graveside service with full military honors.
