Brian Eugene Beard, 55, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 in Ingleside, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.
Brian was born February 8, 1963 to the Reverend Billy Gene Beard and Mary Magdelene (Pelham) Beard. He worked as a Police Officer for the Iowa Park, Taft, Texas and Pinehurst, Idaho Police Departments and retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after working over 20 years as a Correctional Officer.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Brenda Sue Talbert; Nephew, Zachary William Beard; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Surviving relatives include his son, Ryan Beard of Texas; brother, Danny Beard and his wife, Jodie of Edwall, Washington; aunt, Bonnie Pelham of Bridgeport, Texas; nephew, Steven Talbert and wife Samantha of Iowa Park, Texas; niece, Kristen Dunagan and husband Clint of Boone, North Carolina; niece, Leslie Adams of Rusk, Texas; nephew, Danny Beard Jr and wife Sara of White City, Oregon; nephew, Clayton Beard of Spokane, Washington; niece, Lauren Knighten of Spokane, Washington; and numerous cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
