Brenda Moses was born in New Orleans, LA on September 3, 1959, to John Davis & Elvera Moses. Brenda transitioned to her heavenly home May 25, 2022. Brenda received her education at George Washington Carver. She also attended St. Mark Early Childhood Development, where she became certified in teaching. From there she was employed at the French Quarter Campus known as The Little Red Schoolhouse where they taught Kindergarten through 4th Grade. She was also employed for the Lafayette Hotel as a room attendant. She then moved on to Fine Dining as the Captain for the Plimsoll Club, located at the World Trade Center of New Orleans. Shortly after, due to Hurricane Katrina, she returned home and took on the position as Banquet Captain at the Sheraton Metairie-New Orleans Hotel. Brenda is survived by Bryant Lee, daughter April Celestine (Patrick), sons Gwyan, Bryant (Ashley) & Bryan Moses (Dominque). Stepdaughters Nneka Porter & Ebony Lee; Goddaughter Ceiandra Milton & Godson Clarence Earls III. Grandchildren K'Juana, Lawson III, Bryson, Breion, Briana, Kai, Anya, Ronald, Ronyan & Ayanna. 1 great-grandchild, Lawson IV. Brenda will be lovingly remembered and forever in the hearts of Bryant, her children Gwyan, April, Bryant & Bryan. Her stepdaughters, grandchildren, goddaughter & godson. Forever loved in the hearts of her nephew Donald, and nieces Shantell, Sherlita & Roshoan, along with a host of relatives & friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10:00 am at D. W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70125.
