Brenda Blaine Loewy, 67, of Merrimack, New Hampshire passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, New Hampshire. Brenda was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 9th, 1955, only daughter of Judith (Hardcastle) Blaine and the late Edward Joseph Blaine, Jr. who died on December 15th, 2019.
Brenda grew up in Stoneham and Reading, Massachusetts, graduating from Reading High School. She went on to attend Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston, Massachusetts and later attended Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Magna Cum Laude.
She worked for many companies as a Senior Financial Analyst Consultant before retiring to care for her mother, though her favorite job of all was working for the John F. Kennedy Library.
Brenda was a kind soul who relished in the simple pleasures of life. Brenda had a fierce passion for genealogy and had a strong Christian faith. Brenda gave the beautiful gift of life to multiple people through organ donation.
Along with her father, she was also pre-deceased by a brother, Edward Blaine in 2020.
Brenda will forever be loved and remembered by her mother Judith Blaine; her daughter Katharine Dutton; her three grandchildren, Camden Golden, Colton Dutton and Caris Dutton; two brothers, Barry Blaine and his husband Paul and David Blaine and his wife Larisa; sister-in-law, Dawn Blaine, and niece and nephew, Erin and Kevin Blaine; Uncle Robert Blaine; and longtime best friend, Linda Peddle Klinkers.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 10 - 11:30 AM at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, New Hampshire with a service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 AM. Burial will be held at Last Rest Cemetery following the service.
