Brenda Robertson Hardin, age 78 of Charlotte, NC passed away from Alzheimer's on January 30th 2022.
Brenda was a loving mother of three children, Mark Lewis and his wife Lynn Marie (Souza) of Middleboro, MA; Blair Hardin and his wife Erica Kay (Allman) of Lexington, SC and Justin Hardin and his wife Lindsey Ann (Burdette) of Waxhaw, NC and by her grandchildren, Mark Lewis Jr., Erin Lewis, Tristan Lewis, Hunter Lewis, Julia Hardin, Gracelan Hardin, Brynlee Hardin, Ellie Jaye Hardin and another baby girl expected in April.
Brenda was born in York, SC on October 4th, 1943 to Mrs. Mozelle Childers Robertson and Palmer Hazel Robertson. Brenda had four brothers who are all deceased; Keith Robertson, Bryson Robertson, Nesbit Robertson, and Steve Robertson. Brenda leaves behind four first cousins, Ann Sweatt and Linda Darty, Phillip Robertson and Jeffe Robertson. She attended York High School in York, SC and graduated in 1961.
Brenda loved the sand, the surf, and the sea with her boys. Her passion was her family but she enjoyed shopping, dancing, cards with the girls, gardening, laughing with friends and family, her grandbabies, traveling, movie days, cooking, working out, reading magazines, and attending her boys football games for nearly 30 years.
She loved the Lord and her faith was strong, she enjoyed going to church where she was a member at SouthPark Christian Church. If you ever told Mom you loved her, she would say, "I love you more."
A family visitation will be on Saturday, Feb 12, 2022 from 10:00am-12:00pm with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 12:00pm at SouthPark Christian Church (6650 Park South Dr., Charlotte, NC 28210 with Pastor Bruce officiating. Masks are required.
In honor of Momma Hardin's love & passion for gardening, the family will be wearing ties with flowers on them. Feel free to join in and wear floral colors. We love you all!
