Branson Edwin Bishop 70, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on December 16, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida.
A memorial service will be held in late January at Christ Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville, Florida.
Branson Bishop was born in Ball Ground, Georgia to Carl L. Bishop and Marie Bishop on July 17, 1950. He graduated Cherokee High School in Canton, Georgia and from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism. He worked as a DJ for WYYZ in Jasper, Georgia for several years before relocating to Jacksonville, Florida. He was active in his church and cherished his family and friends. Even living in Florida, Branson remained a loyal Georgia Bulldog.
Branson Bishop was preceded in death by his parents, Carl L. and Marie Bishop, brothers Billy Bishop and Benny Bishop.
Branson Bishop is survived by his loving sister Barbara Byers of Jacksonville, Florida, and brother Barry Bishop of Canton, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Parkinson Foundation. A special thank you goes to his sister, Barbara Byers, for all the care given with love over the years.
