Bradley J. Byers, 62, of Boulder City, NV passed away
peacefully, with his family by his side,
after a short
battle with cancer, on February 20, 2021 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, NV.
Bradley J. Byers was born in Denver, Colorado to Verne and Jeanne Byers on June 28, 1958. His high school years were spent at Evergreen and Golden, where he was a member of the jazz band. He held an endorsement with Paiste Cymbals and Vic Firth drumsticks. While at Vanderbilt University, he studied communications and critical thinking. His career focus was playing drums on the Las Vegas strip for 15 years and then shifting to the field of education for over 20 years, while still freelancing as a
drummer. He was always proud of his various jobs that included: radio announcer and DJ at various stations around the country, Southwest Airlines Gate Ticketing Agent, and a Casting Extra in feature films shot on location in Las Vegas. He married T.J. Costanzo on July 12, 2007 in Richfield Springs, NY. Brad loved his family, music, drumming, sports, any and all CO teams, politics, and movies. You could always count on Brad to tell a joke or to make you laugh. And as Brad always loved to remind family and friends, he was both a
drummer and a musician.
Brad is preceded in death by his parents Jeanne and Verne Byers and his brother Stephen Byers.
Brad is survived by his beloved spouse T.J. Byers, his children Tessa, Trevor and Devon Byers (Lizette Harrison, Brad's previous wife and Devon's mother), two sisters; Vickie Anderson of Golden, CO, and July McClure, of Deming, NM, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
