Brad Fowler, a beloved husband and father, died at home unexpectedly of natural causes on August 14, 2022, at the age of 44.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 5:00pm on Saturday, August 27th, at Canton First United Methodist Church in Canton, Georgia. A reception will be held immediately after the service.
Brad was born in Meridian, Mississippi, on January 21, 1978, to Doug and Karen Fowler. He graduated in 1997 from Clinton High School in Clinton, Mississippi. He attended Mississippi State University and graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Banking and Finance. Brad was employed with Fastenal as a General Manager for 15 years. On July 27, 2002, he married Jennifer, the love of his life. They welcomed their first son, Cole, on January 22, 2003. Six years later, their second son, Camden, was born on April 28, 2009. Jennifer and the boys were the most important part of his life.
Brad was a devoted father and adoring husband, who enjoyed spending time with his family. He shared his love of movies with his son, Cole. As an avid sports fan, he loved coaching his son Camden's sports teams, most recently the Junior Chiefs Football team. He enjoyed watching and cheering for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, and New Orleans Saints.
One of Brad's favorite family traditions was spending Thanksgiving with the extended Fowler family. Guided by Doug and Karen, the Fowler's have always been a close knit, Christian family. Brad was a member of Canton First United Methodist Church.
Brad is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jennifer Fowler; two sons, Cole and Camden; parents, Doug and Karen Fowler; brother, Bryan Fowler (Rhonda); sister, Shelley McLeod (Mack); nieces, Erin Fowler and Emma Fowler; and nephews, Truitt Fowler, Ross McLeod, and Will McLeod.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered in Brad's name to Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Mark Weems) and Cherokee County Special Olympics (Ben Farist).
