Bonniejean Powell

Bonniejean Powell, age 82, a longtime resident of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully on January 30 of natural causes. Bonniejean was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Vaunda Kirkham, a sister, Carol Sue Kirkham, her first husband, Robert George, two daughters, Nicole and Holly George, and her second husband, Charles Powell. She is survived by her brother, DuWayne Kirkham, her children, Heidi (David) Pyrah, Merle (Bethany) George, and April (Bryan) Cole, along with her 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Ivy Wood Ward Chapel, 1291 West 65th South. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 P.M at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, in Shelley and Monday from 10:00 till 1:45 A.M. at the church. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
