On July, 4th 2017 Bonnie Gayle Burkart White passed away at home, with her son Terry and husband Keith caring for her, with Hospice assistance.
She was born February, 28 1949 in Miami, Florida, to Dr. Howard H. Burkart DDS and Dorothy Tyler Burkart. She had three dreams growing up, to be Junior Orange Bowl Queen, marrying, and having a child, the love of her life. She was always active in the communities where she lived; she was President of the Kendall Lady Lions Club, President of the Tallahassee Jaycee Women, Executive VP. of the Tallahassee Jaycees, she served as a Director, and Treasurer of the Tallahassee Elketts and the Elks.
She is predeceased by her parents, mother-in-law, Ema Edwards White; brother-in-law Emmett Jackson White. She is survived by her husband Wm. Keith White Jr. and son William Keith "Terry "White III; father-in-law William Keith White; two brothers Howard H. Burkart II (Patricia) and Richard T. Burkart; brother-in-law George Thomas White (Marsha); sister-in-law Alice Ervin (Jay); nephew and niece Chris (Patty), Ashley Thomas (Damon). Parker, Chase, and Forrest White, Shelby, Cameron, and Landon White; cousins Jimmy Malone, Paige Bailey and daughter Megan. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Tallahassee Elks Lodge. Susie Mozolic of Bevis Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements.
