Bonnie J. Amsbaugh of Defiance, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.
She was born on January 3, 1941 in Napoleon, Ohio to Ralph and Nellie (Stout) Glore. On December 2, 1983 Bonnie married the love of her life Tom Amsbaugh who survives.
Bonnie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #372 and was assistant secretary, retiring in June of 2000. She enjoyed golfing and playing Bridge when she was younger. She also enjoyed going out dancing, going to MIS to watch NASCAR races, and spending time with her friends who she loved.
She is survived by her children; Bret (Kristi) Speiser, Kim, (Ted) McColley and Mick Speiser, all of Napoleon, Ohio, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her sisters, Sally Armbruster and Mary (Jim) Call, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Donelda Pratt, and her niece, Kathy Mansfield.
At her request, Bonnie will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery after a private family visitation. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
