Bob B. Easterwood, 85, a lifetime resident of Waco, TX, passed from this life on January 4, 2022, after a lengthy illness of heart trouble. Bob was born April 24, 1936, in Waco, to Bert Allen Easterwood and Katherine Laura (Powell) Easterwood. Bob attended and graduated from Waco High School, where he played trombone in the marching band. In 1954, he married his childhood sweetheart, Jeanette. Together they raised two daughters. Bob was a dedicated, loving husband and father. In 1973, they built their forever dream home in Lorena, TX. His interest in growing plants led to a family business, Easterwood Plant Farm. Bob loved fishing, woodworking, oil painting and flying planes. He was employed by Central Texas Iron Works for 50 years until his retirement. Bob was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Lorena. He served as a deacon, on the board of trustees and many other committees. Bob was a Master Mason since 1978: a member of Scottish Rite of Free Masonry 32 degree. He was blessed to have many great friends during his lifetime and will be greatly missed. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 67 years: Jeanette Marie (Jones) Easterwood; daughters: Cathy Easterwood, and Charlotte Potter and husband Terry; and brothers: Charles Easterwood and wife Marcie, and Ralph Easterwood and wife Melinda. He was preceded in death by his parents: Bert and Katherine (Katy) Easterwood; and brother: Donald Easterwood. Funeral services were held at 1:00pm, Friday, January 14, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Rockwall, TX, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
