Bob E. Darrah, 90, of Fishers passed away August 24, 2022.
He was born September 15, 1931 in Noblesville, Indiana and was a former resident of Pendleton and Fortville.
Bob was a 1949 graduate of Noblesville High School and was an US Army veteran serving in the XVIII Airborne Corps. He was a charter member of the Fortville Optimist Club and a member of Pendleton First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Jessie (Chapman) Darrah whom he married, July 11, 1954; children, Larry B. (Mandy) Darrah of Fortville, Cindy (Ron) Ritter of Melbourne, Florida and Phillip E. (John Hall) Darrah of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and twelve nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence A. and Mary M. (Conley) Darrah; and siblings, Lawrence E. Darrah, Bettie D. (Maynard) Wolfe and Marcie A. (Rev Gene) Young.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, 225 W. State St., Pendleton with Reverend Robyn Axel-Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the American Cancer Society.
