Blanche T Rygwelski

Blanche Rygwelski, 91, was born on January 03, 1929, and passed into eternity on March 23, 2020.
She was born and raised on the Taratuta family farm in Posen, Michigan. Blanche attended Barent School to the 8th grade. In her teens, she worked in Alpena and Detroit.
She married John Wyrembelski on July 10, 1948. John preceded her in death on August 18, 1961. On May 12, 1963, Blanche married Joseph Rygwelski. Joseph preceded her in death on January 26, 2012.
Blanche is survived by her siblings, Leonard (Arvella) Taratuta, Lorraine (Skip) Hertig, Gloria (Ted) Pokorski; her children, Wayne (Sharon) Wyrembelski, Anthony (Theresa) Wyrembelski, Julie Wyrembelski, Lenore Klein, Jan (Charlene) Wyrembelski, and Michael (Linda) Rygwelski; grandchildren, Emily (Brian), Joseph (Lorie), Robert (Angela), Laura (Nick), Daniel (Tiffany), Jessica (Charles), Allison (Sam), Olivia, Jahn (Jennifer), Zachary (Susie), and Stephanie (Matt); and great-grandchildren, Katie, Franklin, Amelia, Carter, Eliza, Levi, Charlotte, Kane, and Braxton.
Blanche was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Julia (Gryka)Taratuta, and siblings, Virginia (Alfred) Krawczak, Sophie (Raymond) Dembny, Aloysius (Regina), infant David, and Delphine (Robert) Stoinski.
Blanche, a hard worker, was a wonderful mother, homemaker, cook, and baker. Most importantly, Blanche loved her family. Throughout her life, her Catholic faith was very important to her. She enjoyed picking berries and canning fruits and vegetables. She had quite a sense of humor. Speaking Polish and dancing to Polish music brought her great joy. Blanche loved to dance.
Due to current world events, there will be a Mass for family members, officiated by Fr. Matthew Wigton and Fr. Nicholas Cooper, on Monday, March 30, 2020.
A Memorial Mass, burial, and luncheon will be held in Posen when conditions allow for a safe, full gathering and celebration with family and friends.
