Blanche Ozell Gregory Giles, age 92, of Knoxville passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her home.
Ozell was a member of the West End Church of Christ. She volunteered at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for many years. She graduated from Rule High School Class of 1945. Ozell is preceded in death by her parents, Grover Gregory and Ruth Brown Gregory of Madisonville; siblings, Walter, J C, Mildred, Mary, Laverne and Martha; and son-in-law, Ron Ballard.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, John Giles; children, Linda Ballard, Jesse (Doree) Giles, David (Charlotte) Giles, Kevin (Daphne) Giles, Anita (John) Wharton; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday July 16th with a Celebration to follow at West End Church of Christ, 8301 East Walker Springs Lane with Minister Jeremy Weekley officiating.
