Blake Jennings Chell, age 38, of Fallston, Maryland passed away on July 3, 2022 in Fallston, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Douglas and Linda (Garland) Chell.
Blake was a member of Mountain Christian Church. He participated with Harford County Active Day, The ARC of Northern Chesapeake and the Harford County Therapeutic Recreation Program. He received personal support services from Richcroft Inc. of Hunt Valley. Blake was a 2004 graduate of John Archer School. He enjoyed singing, music, musical theater, Disney on Ice and anything Disney. He loved arts & crafts and creating his favorite characters out of construction paper. He loved movies, especially E.T., Beauty & the Beast and Peter Pan. He also loved traveling. His favorite destinations included Ocean City (to see the banner planes), Uncle Ed’s farm in Grantsville, the NIH Saffra House, and Disney World (his trip of a lifetime).
Blake was a teacher. He taught everyone he touched how to love and live joyfully. Blake lived longer than most other individuals with his disorder. He will continue to teach as his body has been donated to the National Institutes of Health for research into Propionic Acidemia.
In addition to his parents, Blake is survived by his brother, Ryan Chell; Uncles, John Chell and Ed Garland; Aunt Paula Chell Bradley; Cousins Jayson and his wife Kelly Garland, Megan Garland, Alissa and her husband Jeff Gank, Meghann Chell and husband Michael Medaglia, and John Chell III and his wife Carolyn; and Grandmother Ruth Garland.
Blake was predeceased in death by his grandparents, Lowell Garland, Eula Garland, John Sr. and Helen Chell.
