Blaine Myron Boyer, known to us as Blaine, completed his journey of life on August 10, 2024, having been born on July 2, 1930, in Springville, UT. His life resonated with the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded." Blaine indeed succeeded in making countless lives breathe easier with his compassionate heart, indomitable spirit, and insurmountable dedication to his loved ones and career.
Blaine's life was a testament to these words. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he was a steadfast pillar of strength and solace for his family and all those fortunate to have known him. He married Georgia, his soulmate, on June 1, 1953, creating a family filled with love and unity. Their bond of over seven decades is a testament to their unwavering love and commitment. Blaine was also a devoted father to Brett, Jason, and Christie, always instilling in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and integrity. He was predeceased by his parents, Harlan and Florence Boyer, whose memories he held dear to his heart.
Blaine's professional life was marked by a distinguished career with United Airlines, where he worked tirelessly as a Passenger Agent. His commitment to his profession was evident in his work ethic, his dedication to his colleagues, and his ability to make a difference in people's lives through his job. He retired from his role, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and professionalism that continues to inspire. As Albert Einstein once said, "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." Blaine was undoubtedly of immense value to his family, his work, and his community.
