Billy Riddle, age 90, of Tyler, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025. He was born on April 11, 1935, in Rogers, Texas to Bill R. Riddle and Samantha Sypert Riddle.
Bill loved three things?his wife Millie, his family, and his work. He married the love of his life, Mildred Riddle, with whom he shared 70 wonderful years filled with faith, laughter, and family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose kindness, drive, and steady presence touched everyone who knew him. Bill believed in giving his all to everything he did, and his life was a true reflection of dedication, integrity, grit, and love.
He spent 30 years working in the oil field for Global Marine, where his hard work and leadership led him to become Senior Vice President of North Sea and Africa Operations. After retiring from the oil industry, Bill and Millie built and opened their own business, Enviro Pest Control in Belton, Texas?an endeavor that reflected both their partnership and shared commitment to their community.
Community involvement was deeply important to Bill. He served the Bell County area faithfully as a Mason, Shriner, and Rotarian, and he was an active member of First Baptist Church, where his faith guided his life and actions.
In his later years, Bill and Millie made their home in East Texas, where they spent the last decade near Tyler, enjoying time with family and making new friends in the community they came to love.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sister Francis Morgan; brothers Daryll Riddle and Dean Riddle; sister LaVerne Powell; and his beloved son, John Riddle; and precious great-granddaughter Hope Robinson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred (Millie) Riddle; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryll and Dan Milgrim; grandson and wife, Eric and Kate Riddle; granddaughter, Danielle Riddle; granddaughter and husband, Amanda and Levi Robinson; grandson, Matthew Gulley; grandson and wife, Maxwell and Jessica Milgrim; and grandson, Aaron Milgrim. He was also blessed with ten amazing great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy and pride.
Bill will be remembered for his warm smile, tireless work ethic, and unwavering devotion to his family, faith, and community. His legacy of love, perseverance, and service will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know him.
A memorial service will be held at Autry Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 11:00 A.M.
