Billie Sue Zapotosky, 78, of Johnstown formerly of Central City died Dec. 23, 2019 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born May 29, 1941 in Hooversville, daughter of Herman Oaks and Margaret (Hoover) Oaks Ross. Preceded in death by parents, step father Cletus "Bucky" Ross, sisters: Betty Jane Oaks and JoAnn Matse, brothers: Terry and Robert Oaks, son-in-law Rodney Thompson, and former husband John Zapotosky III. Survived by children: Audrey (Theodore) Wertz, Johnstown, June Thompson Vermeer, Nampa, ID, and John Zapotosky IV married to the former Gina Jones, Central City; grandchildren: Krystle (Jacob) Miller, Brandon Thompson, Jeffrey Zapotosky, and Nicole (Jacob) Frazier; great granddaughter Ellie Mae Frazier; brother Jack Oaks, Cairnbrook; and several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Shade High School. Member of Graef's Lutheran Church, Cairnbrook and Central City V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was a former usher at Arcadia Theatre. A special thanks to the staff at Rosewood, LaurelWood, and Grane Hospice. Private viewing and service will be held at the convenience of the family. Pastor Jeffrey Bassette officiating.
