Billie Jean Lee, 80, passed away February 2, 2021. She was born October 24, 1940 in Red Boiling Springs, TN to the late Charles and Ruby Etheridge. Billie and her husband Charles attended Mt. Zion Church of Christ in Sterling, Ohio. She was known for being fun loving, energetic, enjoying the outdoors and she enjoyed meeting new people. Her favorite things to do were golf, bowling and spending time in the sun.
Billie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles; daughters, Tina (David) Hummel and Tara (Dan) DeHarpart; grandchildren, Tanya (Jeremy) Tanner, Corey Holbein, Ryan (Autumn) Hummel, Nathan (Gina) Hummel and Emily (Shane) Bloniak; siblings, Patricia (Fred) Jarvis, Jack Etheridge, Charles Etheridge, Sandra (Jim) Jones; sister-in-law, Saundra Etheridge; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ken Etheridge.
Private funeral services will be held at the Bacher Funeral Home on Monday, February 8, 2021 with Jonathan Wyant officiating. Interment Western Star Cemetery in Norton. For the safety of those attending, masks must be worn and social distancing practiced.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Zion Church of Christ in Sterling, Ohio or the American Cancer Society in memory of Billie Jean Lee. Condolences and memories can be shared with the Lee family at the funeral home website.
