Bill Zeigler, 87, of Jensen Beach, FL passed away at Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie FL on July 14, 2020. Bill was born June 7, 1933 to Edwin and Theresa Zeigler. He graduated from Mansfield Senior in 1952. He served in the Korean War and attended Miami U, Oxford Ohio.
He was welcomed into heaven and reunited with his loving wife of 59 years Sandra (Sandy) Zeigler, his brother Douglas (Doug) Zeigler , his nephew David Zeigler.
Bill was an avid Buckeyes, Indians and Browns Fan. His choice of clothing said it all.
Bill retired from General Motors in the Production Control and Scheduling Department. Bill and Sandy then spent 34 years in Jensen Beach where they spent time with family and making long lasting friendships . Days filled at the pool, playing bridge, poker and if you couldn't find Bill, he would be fishing on the dock for his favorite snook! Mushroom hunting was another passion of his. He taught his son the love of the hunt which he handed down to his children.
He leaves behind his 3 children, Shelly (Randy) Yeager, Lisa (Dave) Garverick and Jeff (Kathy) Zeigler.
Bill also known as Papa is survived by 5 grandchildren Ryan (Courtney ) Yeager, Tyler(Amanda) Garverick, Haley (Jimmy) Duenas, Brittany Zeigler, and Chaz (Krystal) Zeigler. He has 7 great-grandchildren, Van, Aria, Blu, Brody, Bennett, Easton and Layla.
He is also survived by his brother Stanley (Becky) Zeigler, sister-in-law Lorraine Zeigler and nieces and nephews.
Bill also known by many friends as "Ziggy" will be remembered as enjoying life to it's fullest and loving his family dearly. He will be truly missed.
