Bill Brown was born near Mt. Pleasant, TX on September 28, 1927 and passed away on November 23, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy; 3 sons, Richard (Linda), Phillip, Bill (Karen) and 4 grandchildren, Alexander, Alyssa, Kaitlyn and Victoria (Braden). After serving in the Merchant Marines in WWII and graduating from UT Austin, he worked in the commercial insurance business.
Bill was an avid photographer, skilled hunter and active in Nairobi Missions and Arms of Hope. Most importantly, he loved the Lord and His church. He touched many lives with his humor, compassion and generosity.
Graveside services will be at Bridges Chapel Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Arms of Hope, 21300 Hwy. 16 North, Medina, TX 78055 or Nairobi Kenya Mission, Saturn Road Church of Christ in Garland (please mark it for Nairobi Mission).
