Bev was born on July 27, 1961 in Methuen, MA to Beverly-Jean (Hart) and Louis J. Alterisio. She was raised in Salem, NH, attended local schools, and graduated from Salem High School in the class of 1979. Throughout the years, Bev worked as a Nurse's aide at various nursing homes, but her favorite job of all was being a Mom. She loved being a mother and even more so, being a grandmother. Bev loved whole heartedly. She was quick to take in anyone who needed help and stood in as a parental figure to numerous individuals.
Bev was an amazing gardener and would generously share her bounty of vegetables and fresh eggs with those around her. She was also a fantastic cook and loved the opportunity to cook for others or teach them how to themselves. Bev spent countless summers going on camping trips with family and friends. She always made a point to drive out to the beach and walk along the shore before the end of summer each year. Recently, she had been exploring her spirituality and was interested in the practice of reiki.
She is survived by her two children, Sean Nelson of Boscawen, NH and Ashley Nelson and her partner, Jon Eagle of Hopkinton, MA; her husband, James Nelson; her grandchildren, Zoie Twining, Roman Eagle, Grayson Eagle, Kacey Sirois, Khloey Clark, and Kamron Moulton; her siblings, Debora Cote and her husband Scott, Janet Ruggiero and her husband Robert, and Karen Nelson and her husband Thomas; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bev was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Beverly-Jean Alterisio.
