We mourn the loss of Beverly Ann Clampitt (b.1943), beloved wife of Harold LeRoy Clampitt, who predeceased her on June 5, 2021. Beverly, cherished mother of David (Sara) and Mark (Melissa) residing in Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on November 29, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father Howard Milton Thompson and mother Cleo Rosemary (Heimer) Coons and the step-father who raised her, Vern Coons along with her brother Bob Thompson. She is survived by her sons and grandchildren Jaimie, Eric, Kailey, Christian, Caitlin, Carson, Natalie, Brooke, Logan, Jeremiah, Valerie and sister Barbara Hershey. Beverly graduated from Dallas Baptist University and followed with a career in nursing. She based her entire life on the service of God and it is with deep sorrow but much love that we commend her back into His care. A celebration of life for Harold and Beverly Clampitt will be held at Oak Cliff Christian Church, 660 S. Zang Blvd. Dallas, TX 75208, on Dec. 6th. The family will receive friends at 12:00PM with a service following at 1:00PM.
