Beverly Flom (Boyett), 85, of Tampa, passed away March 21, 2021. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 19, 1936 to Ivy Devine Boyett M.D. and Ruth (Adams) Morris. At a young age her family moved to Tampa where she attended the Academy of the Holy Names and graduated as valedictorian of her class. She attended Northwestern University and Louisiana State University where she became a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She wed Edward Leonard Flom in 1956 and they were married for 62 years, rearing three children together. Beverly took pride in being identified as a homemaker, served as Dale Mabry Elementary PTA President, and as a volunteer in the Tampa General Hospital Auxiliary and The Home Association. She also enjoyed sharing her gifts of music, writing and playing bridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ed and their son, Edward Louis Flom. She is survived by her son Mark (Melissa), daughter Julie Pizzo (Tony), grandchildren Taylor (Adrianna), Chandler, Connor and Coleman Flom, Presley (Mike Kissinger), Colleen and Tony Pizzo, great-grandchild, Rex King Flom, and sister-in-law Mary Sue Rothenberg (Fred).
