DEFIANCE Beverly A Miller, 87, of Defiance, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 3, 1935 to Earl and Cora (Demland) Grant in Defiance County. On February 14, 1953, she married William "Bill" Miller who survives.
Bev was a homemaker and enjoyed having fun and laughing. She and William spent countless hours fishing and camping. Bev did ceramic painting and loved to go shopping. She spent many hours with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bev is survived by her loving spouse of 69 years, William; her children Vicki (Mark) Noirot, Mike (Marsha) Miller, Cindy (Gene) Ankney, and Greg (Susan Zartman) Miller all of Defiance. She will be greatly missed by her 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters; Betty (Larry) Zeller of Dayton, OH, Doll Nihiser of Defiance; and Connie Engler of Bryan, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Darl, William, Wayne, Charles, James, Lowell, Allen, Thomas, Sr., David, Jay Grant; and sisters Burnadette Grime and Virginia Coressel.
Visitation will be held at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memory Gardens.
