Beverlee Crouse Wade Schurman was born October 24, 1941 in Rock Hall, Maryland. She lived a full life and is survived by her family. Her husband Doug Schurman, was the love of her life for 55 years. They enjoyed their Sunday rides around the Eastern Shore shopping and eating at their favorite restaurants. She loved her children, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is survived by her son, Mark Wade, Sr., and daughter Marcia Jean Wade; her grandchildren Marlo Coppage (Nick), Mark Wade, Jr. (Sarah), Michael Wade (Emily) and Griffin Wade; and her great-grandchildren Cole and Olivia Coppage, Liberty and Mark Wade, III, Holton and Michael Wade Jr. (MJ)
For many years, she managed the Kimball Music Center in the old Dover Mall, even though she couldn't play any musical instruments. She was a natural salesperson and won many trips and contests and visited Kenya, Brazil, Denmark, Africa, the Netherlands and many more. She loved to travel. She worked at Drug Fair in Chestertown, Petals at the Queenstown Outlets, AC Moore, Flower Boutique in Centreville, and most recently her own shop, A Just Because Florist. Along the way she made many, many friends and would have done anything for any one of them.
She served in the Air Force, joining before she turned 18, was extremely patriotic, and loved her country. She loved flowers, expensive perfumes, and all animals. She loved to give gifts, send cards, and take friends out to lunch, "Just Because". She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In her memory, she would ask for you provide a random act of kindness to someone in need.
