Beulah M. Crawley, 96, of Connersville, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019. She was born on July 5, 1923, in Manchester, Kentucky, and is the daughter of the late Frank Philpot and Blanche Ponder Philpot. Beulah moved to Connersville as a young girl. She graduated in 1941 from Everton High School. On December 20, 1941, she married William David Crawley. He preceded her in death in 1976.
Beulah was a hard worker and had worked at Ford for 33 years before she retired in 1989. She then went on to work at The Woodridge Inn. She loved to spend her time reading, doing puzzles, and going to church, where she was a member of The Truth. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.
She is survived by a son, Calvin Carson Crawley, of Rushville; seven grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Blanche Irene Harrison; three brothers, Leo Burchel Philpot, William Kenneth Philpot, and Clyde Philpot, as well as a grandson, Denzil Jay Harrison.
Visitation for Beulah will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 31, at 10:00am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Everton Cemetery.
