Betty passed away December 31, 2019 from complications of Rheumatoid Arthritis of the Lungs. Betty was born on October 13, 1937 in Granite Maryland. She graduated from Howard High School in 1956. Betty married Charles Waesche June 23, 1956. Betty was 82 years old.
Betty was all about family and Jesus. She loved both with all her heart. She provided a great foundation for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always amazed at how God Blessed her. She would say when the road ends that is where you should be. She also said to take the next road that God leads you to. She said a Book should be written as "Your Journey Home".
Betty was preceded in death by her, parents Homer & Katherine Smith, of her oldest daughter, Karen Ann Eaton and her oldest granddaughter Katherine Michelle McCarthy (Katie). She is preceded in death by 7 siblings, Mary Wilson, Carol Smith, Elisa Smith, Homer Smith Jr., Jean Smith, Irene Smith and David Smith.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Charles Waesche, of 63 years. One brother (Butch) Russel Smith of East New Market Md. Her children, Kathy Henninger her husband David of Belaire Md., Charles Waesche his wife Kim of Spring Hill Florida. One adopted daughter DeeDee McCracken and her husband Kevin of Chester.
She is survived by 10 Grandchildren, Carley Johnson married to Alex, Annie Eaton married to Carlos, Gary Eaton engaged to Julia, Scotty Eaton engaged to Robyn, Patrick & Shane McCarthy, Kelly Jones married to Josh, Michelle, Lisa and Lorie Waesche.
She is also survived by 7 Great Grand Children, Matthew, Aiden, Isaiah, Madeline, Ezra, Esme and Waylon.
All Funeral Services will be help January 7, 2020 Taylorville United Methodist Church Berlin Md. The viewing will be at 10 AM and the service at 11 AM. Betty will be interned at the Broad Creek Cemetery Stevensville Md.
