Her entrepreneurial spirit and tireless work ethic were matched only by her commitment to her fellow citizens, as she was an active member of Providence Baptist Church, where her faith and love for Jesus Christ were cornerstones of her life. Betty's zest for life extended to her many interests. Her hands, always busy, found joy in the earth of her garden, the warmth of her kitchen, and the richness of travel. She was a master of canning and cooking, often sharing the fruits of her labor with friends and neighbors, ensuring no one left her home without a full heart and a full stomach. Those who knew Betty will remember her for the love she so freely gave and the laughter she so easily inspired. Her optimistic outlook was contagious, and her presence was a source of comfort and happiness.
