Betty (Kohnle) Sheehan, 68, of Newington passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. Born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Kenneth and Shirley Kohnle she moved to Glastonbury in 1972. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University and went on to be a commercial underwriter for Travelers for over 20 years. Betty was a board member of the Old Wethersfield Historical Society and ran a grief share program for widowers. Betty was a cat lover, she would annually donate to many different charities to help stray cats. She was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and loved to do many different craft projects.
Betty leaves behind her significant other, Dennis Dudley, her brother Kenneth Kohnle, and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, along with many close friends and coworkers. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband of 25 years Tom Sheehan, her brother Craig Kohnle, and her sister Carol Kohnle.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 15th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington.
